Year 7 & 8:

Use the Judaism home learning booklet which you can find on Show My Homework, within the booklet you will find the basic information needed and links to videos and further information to complete the tasks. Each section of the booklet is designed to be around an hours work, try to complete one section a week.

 

Year 9:

Faith and Film. Think about why we watch films and what your favourite film is and why. Watch a film, try to pick a film aged 12 or under, with your family or choose one a group of your friends can watch also, consider the religious themes with film and summaries what this film can teach us about religion. Consider if you think films are a good way to teach people about religious beliefs and ideas, try to think of at least three reasons why they are and three reasons why they are not. You can complete this on your own or collaborate with friends to share ideas on this section. Discussing why we watch films and watching the film of your choice should take around two hours and then you should try to spend around an hour on each of the following two tasks. Year 10 Options:

Christian Practices, work through the booklet on the final section of the yr 10 course. Use the booklet, BBC Bitesize and the text book to complete the tasks. Each section has been designed to take about an hour. The booklet and links to helpful videos and websites on Show My Homework.

Christian Practices, work through the first four “lessons” in booklet. Use the booklet, BBC Bitesize, there is lots of information and helpful videos, and the text book to complete the tasks.
