Unit 4 Promoting a Brand.
Within this unit we are looking at the different ways that successful businesses and charities promote themselves to their customers through their brand and image. In this unit you will find out what it takes to build a brand and what businesses will have to think about when developing the brand and their products. You will investigate the importance of branding for businesses and also why businesses need to review and update this so the business and products/services they sell remain relevant to the market place. You will also look into the 4 P’s (Price, Product, Place and Promotion) of the Marketing Mix and the communications programs that businesses use called the Promotional Mix. This will allow you to have a better understanding of why careful planning is so important for a brand to be successful and help you see that it’s not enough for a business to just have an excellent product on offer.
Aims of this unit
Aim 1- To explore the use of branding and promotional mix in business.
Aim 2- To develop and promote a brand for a business.
Assignment work is on Google Classroom or Show My Homework as specified to students by their teacher, Miss Taylor or Mr Savory.
This Unit is split up into two assignment
Assignment One- Exploring brand marketing and promotion
Assignment Two- Developing a brand.
All work for both assignments are on either Google Classroom or Show My Homework under designated sections as directed by your class teacher. Additional information will be shared with the class on Show My Homework or on the classroom itself as we move forward.
